SUBSTANCE: vibratory flowmeter (5) for checking the meter includes: a measuring electronics (20) connected to the first and the second strain gauges (170L, 170R) and connected to the drive (180), wherein the measuring electronics (20) is configured: to excite the assembly vibrations (10) of the flowmeter in a single-mode by the actuator (180), to determine the current (230V) of the single mode drive mode (180) and to determine the first and the second voltage (231) of the response generated by respectively the first and the second strain gauge sensors (170L, 170R), to calculate the amplitude-frequency characteristic for the said certain first and second response voltages (231) on the basis of the certain current (230) of the single mode, to approximate the generated amplitude-frequency characteristics of the model minus in the pole and to verify the proper operation of the vibratory flowmeter (5) by using the value (216) rigidity of the meter, the residual elasticity (218) and weight (240) of the meter in the implementation options.
EFFECT: improving the detection of the flow calibration factor change and minimizing the probability of false alarms due to improved diagnostics.
