SUBSTANCE: invention discloses an alternative solid fuel containing a vegetal material and a binder. Hulls of rapeseed and cakeseed are used as a binder, and the vegetal material includes stubble remains of cereal crops, crushed corn and sunflower stalks, tree branches of poplar, alder, willow at the following component ratio, wt %: the vegetal material 75-95; the husks of rapeseed and cakeseed 5-25, wherein the corn stalks and tree branches are crushed to a particle size of 10 mm, and the sunflower stalks - up to the size of 3 mm. It is made in the form of pellets.

EFFECT: solid environmentally friendly fuel of high quality is obtained without the use of any chemical additives due to the improvement of structural and mechanical properties, crushing and deformation during transportation are excluded.
