SUBSTANCE: separator (30) for maintaining the relative angular separation of the plurality of rolling elements includes a housing comprising an annular portion (38) and a plurality of gripping elements (42). Each of the mentioned gripping elements (42) is adapted to grip at least one of the mentioned plurality of rolling elements. The mentioned housing (34) is made of a sintered powder-formed metal impregnated with bronze. A bearing assembly is also proposed, which comprises an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the mentioned inner and outer rings, and the mentioned separator (30). A method for manufacturing the mentioned separator (30) is also proposed, which comprises forming the separator housing from powder-formed metal using additive technology and impregnating the mentioend separator housing with bronze.
EFFECT: providing a small volume of separator production, high tribological characteristics.
