INFORMATION ON INPUT AND OUTPUT OF MEDICAL DEVICE WITH USE OF DISTRIBUTED MEASUREMENT OF TEMPERATURE BY OPTICAL FIBER Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B1/02 A61B5/01

Abstract RU 2628638 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: temperature measuring system with the optical fiber comprises a medical device having at least one optical fiber capable of distributed tensile measurements caused by temperature, and measuring the shape of the device and interpretation module, configured to receive optical signals from at least one the optical fiber within the body and interpret the optical signals for determining at least one temperature gradient device, wherein the module of interpretation outputs at least one particular temperature gradient device. The temperature measurement workstation comprises a medical device including a measuring device having at least one optical fiber, a processor, a memory having an interpretation module stored therein configured to receive optical signals from at least one optical fiber in an interpretation object optical signals, and a display configured to display temperature and/or temperature gradient information relating to the object. The method for determining a temperature transition point comprises the steps of collecting tensile data from a stretch measuring device of an optical fiber included in a medical device, the optical fiber stretching measurement device being located in at least two different temperature regions, determining at least one temperature gradient in at least in the two mentioned different temperature regions from the tensile data, the geometric extension of the measuring device constituting the point of temperature transition between at least two different temperature regions based on the stretching data and locating the transition point with respect to the medical device to find a specific reference location.

EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to expand the arsenal of measuring devices.
