FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to flow meters and, in particular, to measurement methods based on the Coriolis effect, which provide continuous monitoring and high accuracy in quantitative and qualitative measurements of the flow of the multiphase fluid. Method of measuring at least one multiphase flow variable using a vibratory flow meter, comprising steps of at least one strain gauge sensor and drive, comprises steps of: excitation of oscillations of at least one flowing pipeline on drive oscillatory mode by at least one drive; receiving a sensor signal based on the oscillating response to the oscillation of the drive mode from at least one strain gauge; computing at least one flow variable; measuring strain metric voltage of sensor; determining if the voltage of the strain gauge sensor is below a predetermined voltage threshold; and correcting at least one variable flow during periods when the strain gauge sensor voltage is below a predetermined voltage threshold.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of multiphase flow parameters determination reliability.
