FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: carbohydrates, cellulose or gamma-irradiated and/or oxidized lignocellulosic raw materials are mixed with a solvent-ionic liquid or a mixture of ionic liquids and a catalyst, which uses Lewis acids and Bronsted acids. As Lewis acids, preferably transition metal chlorides or mixtures thereof with lithium chloride, in particular, chromium (III) chloride, equimolar mixture of chromium (III) chloride and lithium chloride, aluminium chloride complex with the Schiff base, equimolar mixture of chromium (III) chloride with lithium chloride are used. As the Bronsted acids, preferably heteropolyacids or their complexes with Schiff bases, in particular, phosphotungstic acid, phosphotungstic acid complex with Schiff base are used. The resulting reaction mixture is sent to a thin film distillation reactor, in which the temperature of the heating surface is maintained in the range of 110-150°C, the temperature of the cooling surface in the range minus 20 - minus 50°C, and the pressure - below the vapor pressure of the products at the temperature of the heating surface. The reaction mixture is applied either by a layer of the predetermined thickness to the heating surface by means of film formers or is fed by gravity at the predetermined rate to the heating surface, the residence time of the reaction mixture on the heating surface is regulated by changing the viscosity of the reaction mixture. A condensed target product is withdrawn from the cooling surface and a residue consisting of unreacted feed, solvent and catalyst is removed from the heating surface and recycled to the heating surface.
EFFECT: optimisation of technological parameters, ensuring simultaneous implementation of chemical reaction complex and increasing the yield of the target product.
