FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: method for driving a mobile robot is disclosed, comprising: providing a transmitter (110) and transmitting the guide signal (300) by said transmitter to a spatially restricted area (302) of the guide signal reception; providing a mobile robot (200) including two guide signal sensors (210a, 210b) disposed in the vicinity of each other, each of which is made with the possibility to generate a reference signal that reflects receiving the guide signal by this sensor; and moving this robot along the boundary portion (306) of this area of the guide signal reception, while maintaining, on the basis of said reference signals, the tracking state in which the first of these sensors (210a) of the guide signal is positioned substantially on the first side of the specified boundary portion (306), and the second one of said sensors (210b) of the guide signal is positioned essentially on the opposite, second side of said boundary portion (306). The system implementing this method is disclosed as well.
EFFECT: improvement of the robot.
