FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for pregnant women with a high risk of fetal chromosome anomalities, according to the results of prenatal screening, the index of cervix stiffness is determined in accordance with the FMF standard by the shear wave sonoelastography method. The obtained index is compared with the index of reference tissue stiffness, with the lower segment of the anterior uterine wall used as the reference. When the value of the cervix stiffness index is below the stiffness index value of the lower segment of the anterior uterine wall, invasive diagnosis of chromosomal anomalities of the fetus is carried out.
EFFECT: increased reliability of diagnosis of the risk of fetal chromosome anomalities at the early stages of pregnancy due to the possibility of cervix softening degree quantification.
