FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: posterior pole, nevrectomy, eye inner membranes removal is performed. Crosswise incision is performed throughout the sclera in the intermuscular spaces in the four meridians with formation of flaps. The edges are spread, and the formed defects of the sclera are filled with polytetrafluoroethylene plates and hemmed to the flaps edges. The plates are preferably 0.2-0.5 mm thick. The dimensions of scleral defects are determined depending on the volume of the scleral capsule and the size of the orbital implant. Plates of predominantly trapezoidal form are sutured to the sclera with nodular sutures. The plate can be perforated and have apertures of 1-2 mm, located in staggered order.
EFFECT: obtaining of an adequate cosmetic effect with formation of a musculoskeletal stump of the required volume.
