SUBSTANCE: method of producing ballistic tissue for the manufacture of a bulletproof material involves sizing the tissue threads by immersing the tissue in a 2-5% solution of polyvinyl alcohol in distilled or desalted water, holding it, drying to evaporate the solvent, treating the catalyst with 20-40% sulfuric acid solution, followed by washing from the catalyst and drying to an air-dry state. The bulletproof material is made of layers of the ballistic tissue, which is produced by the method of the invention.
EFFECT: increasing the ballistic properties of the ballistic tissue and bulletproof material made thereof.
