METHOD OF PRODUCING BALLISTIC FABRIC FOR MAKING BULLETPROOF MATERIAL AND BULLETPROOF MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F41H1/02 

FIELD: personal protection equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to armored structures, in particular, to layered bulletproof materials from ballistic fabric, and can be used in production of individual protection means: armor jackets, protective clothes, armored helmets and their elements. Method of producing ballistic fabric for making bulletproof material involves treating tissue threads by immersing tissue in 1N solution of monochloroacetic acid in distilled water, holding in it with subsequent washing, sizing of fabric threads by dipping tissue into 2–5 % polyvinyl alcohol solution in distilled or desalinated water, maintenance in it, drying until evaporation of solvent, treatment with catalyst – 20–40 % sulfuric acid solution, followed by washing from catalyst and drying to air-dry state. Bulletproof material is made of layers of ballistic fabric, which is produced by the method under the invention.

EFFECT: improved ballistic properties of ballistic fabric and bulletproof material made from it.
