FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing ballistic fabric based on high-strength aramid threads with a linear density of 29.4 tex, made with twill weave, for the production of bullet-resistant material, including processing the aramid threads of the fabric by immersing the fabric in a 1N solution of ethane-1,2 dicarboxylic acid, which is prepared in distilled water at a temperature of 90°C, the fabric is kept in the specified solution of ethane-1,2 dicarboxylic acid for 2 hours, followed by washing and drying.
EFFECT: resulting bullet-resistant material from layers of ballistic fabric helps to increase the ballistic properties.
