FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: magnitude of the thermal effect of metabolism or heat production in the metabolism process of a local area of living tissue is calculated. For this end, using a heat and waterproof applicator, the tissue parameters in the local area under the applicator are measured, which characterize the processes of heat and substance transfer in the local area under the applicator. Simultaneously or before the beginning of the measurement of the mentioned parameters, the temporal dynamics of the climatic parameters determining the heat exchange of the tissue with the environment is measured. The enthalpy value of tissue is measured taking into account the influence of climatic parameters. The hydraulic pressure in the microcirculation system is determined depending on the osmotic pressure and elastic pressure. The magnitude of the thermal effect of metabolism or heat production in the metabolism process of a local area of living tissue is calculated with the help of the basic equation of thermodynamics, which connects the enthalpy of tissue with the variables of the thermodynamic state.
EFFECT: group of inventions increases the accuracy of measuring the thermal effect of metabolism by taking into account the measurement errors from the influence of external environmental factors, as well as by taking into account measurement errors caused by physiological changes in the patient's measured parameters, and also allows to carry out noninvasive monitoring of sugar level in blood of patients suffering from diabetes, which is proportional to the magnitude of the heat effect of metabolism or heat production in the metabolism process of a local area of living tissue.
