SUBSTANCE: device (2) with a hook for hanging objects, such as picture frames, is proposed, comprising a body (10) with an interior space adapted to extend the supporting member for the device (2) with a hook through the body (10) and which comprises the ledge to serve as a hanging hook. Hook device (2) comprises a clamping mechanism for fixing the body (10) to support member. Clamping mechanism includes a first hollow cylinder (20) with a tapered inner surface (21), which is retained in the body (10) in the axial direction by means of geometric closure. During the assembly of hook device (2), the first hollow cylinder (20) is inserted into the body (10) as the cylinder (20) moves through the opening (17) in radial direction.
