FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method contains the sequential adding of one powder material layer after another, the selective applying of energy to the powder material in the layer as the high-energy source radiation and the powder material layer sections curing. The layer-by-layer additive build-up of the powder material layers at least of one massive part of the hub, provide the powder material curing to form the lattice hollow structure with the outer monolithic shell structure, enclosing the lattice hollow structure. It is also proposed the turbomachine impeller in which at least one massive part of the hub has the lattice hollow structure with the outer monolithic shell structure, enclosing the lattice hollow structure.
EFFECT: reduction of the impeller weight, at simultaneous keeping of the required mechanical strength and the chemical-physical resistance.
