A method for transmitting an analog high-frequency signal via a fiber-optic communication line, in which an analog high-frequency transmitted signal is supplied to an optical transmitter, this signal is modulated to modulate an optical signal of a laser diode, the generated optical signal is fed through an optical isolator to an optical fiber, the optical signal is fed to a photodiode, in which is converted into an electrical signal, it is amplified and fed to the output of the fiber-optic communication line, the temperature of the laser diode body is stabilized using a Peltier element, the dependence of the signal-to-noise ratio of the high-frequency signal at the output of the fiber-optic communication line on the input signal power is measured, the power of the analog high-frequency signal is recorded, automatic adjustment of the power of the analog high-frequency signal supplied to the laser diode, and stabilization of the bias current of the laser diode in accordance with the previously recorded values.

EFFECT: increase in the dynamic range of the transmitted signal.
