SUBSTANCE: video data decoding method comprises: decoding the message of supplementary expansion information (SEI) of timing sub-pictures, which provides information on delete delay from the coded picture buffer (CPB) for the decoding unit (DU) associated with the SEI message of timing sub-pictures; determining, according to the SEI message of timing sub-pictures, the duration between the deletion time from the CPB of the last DU from the access unit (AU) in the decoding order, and the deletion time from the CPB of the mentioned DU associated with the SEI message of timing sub-pictures; determining the deletion time from the CPB of the mentioned DU associated with the SEI message of timing sub-pictures base, at least partially, on a certain duration; during the deletion from the CPB of the mentioned DU, associated with the SEI message of timing sub-pictures, decoding video data associated with DU, associated with SEI message of timing sub-pictures.

EFFECT: providing signaling and determining the deletion times of the coded data units from the buffer of coded pictures.
