FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining the sizes of nanoparticles added to initial colloidal solution involves irradiating the solution with added nanoparticles by laser radiation. Measuring the current intensity of scattered radiation for a predetermined period of time and calculating the size distribution of nanoparticles in said solution Iirr(d) by the dynamic scattering method. Wherein the size distribution of nanoparticles in the initial solution Iph(d) is preliminary obtained by a similar method, the average photon counting rate is measured for said period of time for the initial solution Pph and the solution with added nanoparticles Pirr and the transmission coefficients at the wavelength of the laser radiation for the initial solution Tph and the solution with added nanoparticles Tirr are measured. The size distribution of the added nanoparticles is calculated as .
EFFECT: simplifying determining the sizes of nanoparticles added to the initial colloidal solution.
