SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology, orthopaedics, surgery, and discloses a method for producing a bone implant with a demineralised surface layer. Method involves mechanical treatment of bone, demineralisation of samples with subsequent incubation of samples in a solution of an antimicrobial agent, and sterilization by an ozone-oxygen mixture.

EFFECT: method enables to obtain an implant with a demineralised surface layer, combining osteoinductive, osteoconductive properties of the demineralised bone matrix of the surface layer and mechanical strength of the native bone of the implant; as well as obtained demineralised surface layer of implant, due to high sorption capacity, provides for immobilisation on its surface of a Sanguiritrin drug for imparting antibacterial properties to the implant.
