SUBSTANCE: method of alloying UO2 powders, including dosing powder alloying compound (additive) in UO2, the operation for preparing a portion of UO2 mixture with powder alloying compound, the manufacture of press powder, the moulding of compacted matter and heat treatment thereof. As an alloying compound, aluminium- or (and) silicon-containing substance with melting point up to 200°C is used, the melting and evaporation temperatures of which lie below the decomposition temperature.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the alloying and reduce the sintering time for tablets.
