FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for prediction of bronchial asthma development in patients with rhinosinusitis polyposa, which consists in determination of the average mass molecules (AMM), unitary solids, in the blood of patients, measurement of exhaled and inhaled air temperature (T exh), °C, and (T inh), °C, and determination of the temperature difference (ΔT), °C, between the inhaled and exhaled air temperatures, prediction is made using the discriminant equation: D = +5.028×T exh-0.405×T-8.910×ΔAMM, where the discriminant function boundary value is 152.16; at D greater than or equal to the discriminant function boundary value, absence of bronchial asthma development in patients with rhinosinusitis polyposa is predicted; at D less than the discriminant function boundary value, development of bronchial asthma in patients with rhinosinusitis polyposa is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows to effectively predict the development of bronchial asthma in patients with rhinosinusitis polyposa.
