FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: combined fiber-optic three-phase sensor of open electric arc containing an optic fiber light guide with transparent coat, a first magnetocontrollable normally closed optical shutter, a photodetector whose electrical output is the sensor output, additionally comprising a first optical splitter, a second and a third magnetocontrollable normally closed optical shutters, a second optical splitter. The optical output of the optic fiber light guide with transparent coat is in parallel connected through the first optical splitter to the optical inputs of the first, second and third optical shutters, the optical outputs of which are connected in parallel to the optical input of the photodetector through a second optical splitter, and the magnetocontrollable optical shutter with a mechanical drive is used as an optical shutter.
EFFECT: ability of one device to monitor the currents flowing in all three phases of the high-voltage circuit when an electric arc arises.
