FIELD: nuclear physics and engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for removing heat from a reactor plant. In the proposed system, the starting tank is made with a water reserve under pressure higher than the pressure at the outlet of the steam generator, and is connected to the inlet of the steam generator through a shutoff valve. At that, on the branch connecting the outlet water branch pipe of the water storage tank and the inlet water nozzle of the steam-water injector, and on the outlet branch of the steam-water injector there are control valves, on the water branch at the outlet of the steam-water injector there is a container with air and a non-return valve. An electric pump with a non-return valve is installed in parallel to the non-return valve, and a non-return valve is located on the water branch connecting the outlet from the steam-water injector and the inlet to the steam generator.
EFFECT: higher operational reliability of the system, which is manifested in the possibility of safe start-up of the system, its operation in both emergency mode and standard cooling mode and unlimited in terms of time heat supplied to the steam generator without pulsations in the system and failure of the steam-water injector.
