SUBSTRATE FOR BASE FOR GROWING CROPS AND APPLICATION, IN PARTICULAR, FOR CREATING SURFACES OF SPORT PURPOSES Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A01G31/00 E01C13/00 C09K17/00 A63C19/00

Abstract RU 2631680 C2

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: substrate for use as a base for growing crops comprises: the first part representing a substrate skeleton and constituting more than 70% of the total substrate volume, composed of particles P>100 mcm more than 100 microns in size. Wherein the aggregate of these particles consists of solid particles PD>100 and/or elastic particles PR>100, the volume fraction PV of these elastic particles constitutes from 0% to 100% by volume of this first part; the second part of the corpuscular elements P<100 less than 100 mcm in size. This part is from 0 to 450 g/l of said substrate; the third part constituting from 0 to 200 g/l of said substrate, consisting of fine fibers of the length from 3 mm to 100 mm and the diameter of 5 mcm to 35 mcm; the fourth part constituting from 0 to 200 g/l of said substrate consisting of elongated and/or surface inclusions having the largest size at least 10 times exceeding their smallest size and at least 10 times exceeding the average size of the first part particles constituting the substrate skeleton. The cumulative quantity of the third and fourth parts exceeds 0.5 g/l of the substrate. The use of the substrate for creating, if necessary in the place of use, surfaces of the sport purpose, terrace surfaces, a plant transplantation medium, or cultivating a lawn in the form of strips. A playground for football or rugby, containing a substrate intended for use as a base for growing crops, the fraction of elastic particles of which is from 5% to 100% by volume of the first part.

EFFECT: inventions allow to create a stable, including resistance to frost, flexible substrate with good drainage properties.
