FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: aqueous dispersion contains 37.5-42 wt % of benzoyl peroxide with an average particle size of less than 5 mcm; 0.1-2.0 wt % of surfactant (surfactant) - a polyglyceryl ester partially esterified with a mixture of octanoic acid and decanoic acid, with HLB 12-18; water; gelling agent; crosslinker and base. The process for preparing said aqueous dispersion comprises grinding benzoyl peroxide having an average particle size greater than 10 mcm in water in the presence of mentioned surfactant.
EFFECT: decrease in the viscosity of aqueous dispersions of organic peroxides and the ability to easily dispense or pump highly concentrated aqueous dispersions of organic peroxides with a pump.
