FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices (1) for cutting tensioned steel wire strands made in one step, in particular, used for pretensioned concrete structures. The device comprises of a body (3) with through bores (13a, b, c) in it, which correspond to tensioned wire strands to be cut, and a cutting member (29), having, for each single through bore (13a, b, c), a separate blade with a cutting end (43a, b, c). The cutting member (29) is installed in a slot (23), inside the body (3), adapted to take the cutting member (29) and crossing the through bores (13a, b, c) to travel in the cutting direction relative to the through bores (13a, b, c) and fully cross them with the respective cutting end (43a, b, c).
EFFECT: invention allows for reducing the labour intensity of the cutting process for tensioned wire strands.
