FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for total hip arthroplasty, as well as for the treatment of periprosthetic fractures and hip endoprosthesis leg instability. The kit consists of an acetabular component, spherical head, neck and leg of the endoprosthesis, at the end of which there is an external thread for connection to an intramedullary pin. The upper part of the intramedullary pin is made in the form of a cylinder with an internal thread for connection to the endoprosthesis leg. The lower part of the pin is made in the form of a tube with holes for dynamic and static screws located perpendicular to its axis and an internal thread in its upper part. The upper and lower parts of the intramedullary pin are connected by a locking mechanism including a hinge and a pin located in the tube channel and wrapped in the pin bottom thread. The ball head of the hinge has a cylindrical protrusion and is connected to the pin top, and the hinge body has a corresponding groove for the cylindrical protrusion and is connected to the pin bottom. This kit is characterized by a blind hole located along the leg axis at the lower end of the endoprosthesis leg. In the endoprosthesis leg there are through holes located perpendicular to the leg axis and extending through the blind hole of the leg, at several levels of the leg in different planes relative to each other. There is a through hole in the hinge head located along the axis of the top part of the intramedullary pin, and on the lower surface of the hinge head hemisphere there are blind holes connected to each other and to the through hole of the top part of the intramedullary pin in the center of the hinge head, so that one of the holes is connected to the tube channel of the bottom part of the intramedullary pin in any position of the hinge head.
EFFECT: increased stability of the endoprosthesis femoral component during operative treatment of instability.
