FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to remove stably fixed stems of the hip joint endoprosthesis in case of infectious complications, as well as to remove broken pins and other metal structures from the intramedullary canal. Surgical access is performed. Then, a canal is formed along the stem of the endoprosthesis between the stem and the bone, a wire saw is inserted into it, and with translational pendulum movements, holding a wire saw by its ends, a cut is made between the stem and the femur along the entire circumference of the femoral canal.
EFFECT: method provides reduction of surgical intervention traumatism, reduction of its duration, prevention of possible periprosthetic femoral fracture, preservation of the maximum possible amount of bone tissue due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
