FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises mixing and reacting copper-melting molten slag, a carbonaceous reductant and an inert gas under pressure. Wherein, the inert gas pressure is between 100 kPa and 800 kPa. The device includes a furnace body and gas nozzles placed on the furnace body. The gas nozzles are located on side wall of the furnace body and oriented to center of a melt bath.
EFFECT: reduction of copper content in post-reaction slag.
