FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: foot drill includes a central shaft rigidly connected to a transverse handle, a working member, a foot abutment. The central rod is located in a housing. The housing consists of two parts: an upper part in the form of a hollow cylinder retained in its initial position by return springs with the possibility of vertical movement, and a lower part in the form of a hollow cone connected to the top with the possibility of rotating the cone with respect to the cylinder by means of a thrust bearing. The rod has projections, the arrangement and dimensions of which coincide with the grooves in the inner cavity of the upper part of the housing. In the lower part of the rod, guide spiral grooves are formed, which engage with twisting projections. The working member is rigidly connected to the lower part of the housing.
EFFECT: possibility of forming larger holes in heavy soils while reducing the expenditure of physical efforts.
