FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: sample of whole blood collected in an anti-coagulation solution is centrifuged. The plasma is removed. vnDNA is isolated from the plasma, modified with sodium bisulfite. MS-PCR is performed using specially selected primers and probes for the control FDPS gene and aberrant-methylated RARbeta2, RASSF1A and TCF21 marker genes. Further, a comparative analysis of the PCR results is performed taking into account the obtained Ct for the detected genes. If the value of Ct≤35.1 for the FDPS gene and Ct≤41 for the RARbeta2 and/or RASSF1A genes and/or Ct≤42.5 for the TCF 21 gene, a conclusion is made about the presence of lung cancer in the patient.
EFFECT: simplification of the known method, increase of its sensitivity and specificity.
