SUBSTANCE: gas flow is irradiated by electromagnetically emitted radiation (12) in microwave or terahertz range, scattered radiation (13) is detected, and the scattered radiation occurs due to scattering of emitted radiation from at least one object (11) in gas flow, a difference in frequency between scattered radiation and emitted radiation is detected, and determination of presence, amount and/or fraction of moving objects in gas flow from the frequency difference is carried out and gas mixture separation is performed taking into account the determined presence of determined amount and/or determined percentage of moving objects in gas flow.

EFFECT: invention allows to detect moving objects reliably and easily.
