FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device for stabilising vortex flow has a body with inlet and outlet branch pipes for vortex flow and a guide element located inside the body. The body is made in form of a hollow cylinder, which end flanges are provided with inlet and outlet branch pipes. The guide element is made in form of movable flat segments movably engaged with the body end flanges. An inner mechanism is provided for shifting the movable flat segments in a plane perpendicular to the vortex flow motion direction. The inner mechanism drive and additional branch pipe for introducing stabilising flow are mounted on side surface of the body. The inner mechanism is made in form of rotating cylindrical ring and locks which are rigidly fixed on movable flat segments and are kinematically joined with rotating cylindrical ring and the body end flanges.
EFFECT: improvement of technical and operational parameters of the device, providing smooth adjustment of the basic parameters of vortex flows, including high-enthalpy and cryogenic multiphase vortex flows.
