FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: unit comprises a housing and a hollow perforated rotor mounted therein, installed with the possibility of rotation, a loading device for raw materials, a water supply unit. The perforated rotor is made in the form of a perforated cylinder inclined at an angle α relative to the horizontal rotation axis, with flat perforated end walls of elliptical shape, placed at different angles β and ψ to the rotation axis and at an angle ϕ to each other as well. The axes of larger diameters of ellipses of perforated end walls are parallel or can be turned along the rotational axis of the perforated rotor relative to each other by an angle ω. Through the entire length of the perforated rotor, along its rotation axis, a spring of concave shape with flat section of turns is mounted. The spring is equipped with the device for changing the turn pitch by means of its extension or contraction. The housing is equipped with a seed unloading device and, together with the perforated rotor, is fixed to a frame resiliently mounted on a bed.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of seed separation.
