FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: laser coagulates of the 1st degree are applied to the epiretinal membrane area in a staggered manner over the entire area of epiretinal fibrosis with the following parameters: wavelength 577 nm, power 50 mW, pulse duration 0.03-0.05 s, spot diametre 100 mcm, distance between the laser coagulates 150 mcm. After 7-10 days, a subthreshold microimpulse laser action is performed with application of laser applicators in a staggered manner over the entire surface of epiretinal fibrosis. The wavelength is 577 nm, the duration of the packet is 30 ms, the duration of the micropulse is 50 mcs, the pulse ratio is 4.7%, the spot diametre is 100 mcm and the power is 50 mW.
EFFECT: stabilisation or improvement of the maximally corrected visual acuity, stabilization or increase of the retina light-sensitivity due to the stimulating action of laser energy which improves the trophic of the intact retina around the sites of exposure.
