FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a titanium-containing filler obtained by mixing residues from a titanium dioxide manufacturing process that is produced during the manufacturing of titanium dioxide with an application of a sulphate and/or chloride process, with the main slags from metal production process. There is also a method provided for its manufacturing where said residues are mixed with basic slags from the metal production process having a B slag number that exceeds 0.8 in an amount providing a titanium-containing filler has pH in the range of 5-12, preferably in the range of 6-10. The obtained filler is used in metallurgical processes, as well as for concrete, cement, asphalt, fireproof materials, compositions used for repair works, and primers.
EFFECT: increase of process efficiency.
