SUBSTANCE: method comprises: obtaining a spatial prediction motion vector of the current block using the motion vector of a spatially adjacent block adjacent to the current block; determining a relative block in the associated image based on, whether the boundary of the current block is adjacent to the boundary of the largest code block; obtaining a temporal prediction motion vector of the current block using the motion vector of the associated block; forming a list of candidates into the motion vectors of the current block, wherein the candidate motion vector list includes a spatial prediction motion vector and a temporal prediction motion vector; and performing inter-frame prediction for the current block based on the list of candidates for the motion vectors thus formed.

EFFECT: reducing the amount of required memory.
