FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to video encoding/decoding technologies. Method of decoding a video signal is disclosed. Method comprises step of decoding information relating to inter-frame prediction. Next, the spatial prediction motion vector of the current block is obtained using the motion vector of a spatially adjacent block adjacent to the current block. Correlated block is determined in the associated picture based on whether the boundary of the current block is adjacent to the boundary of the largest code block. Time prediction vector of current block is obtained by scaling motion vector of associated block, wherein the motion vector of the associated block is scaled based on the time distance between the current image containing the current block and the reference picture of the current block.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of encoding/decoding a video signal.
