FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a strip of iron-nickel alloy Fe-(4950.5) wt % Ni having acute cubic texture, includes melting of alloy in alundum crucibles in argon atmosphere in vacuum induction furnace, forging at temperature of 800-1000°C on rods with cross-section of 7×7 mm, grinding, cold rolling on polished rolls with degree of cold deformation of 98-99% and recrystallisation annealing. Preliminary annealing of rolled strips at heating rate of 10°C/min to temperature of 480-520°C/min is carried out before recrystallisation annealing with application of constant magnetic field of 28-30 T along direction of cold rolling and holding at this temperature for at least 20 min with subsequent cooling to room temperature, recrystallisation annealing is carried out at rate 2°C/min from temperature 400 to 675°C.

EFFECT: reduction of recrystallisation annealing temperature while maintaining high degree of cubic texture acuteness.
