SUBSTANCE: multi-system device (1) of a current converter is proposed for selectively supplying an electric drive motor (17, 18) of a rail vehicle from an AC network (2) or a DC network (3). The multi-system device (1) of the current converter comprises an intermediate DC voltage circuit (4) connecting the network side current converter (3, 15) to the load side current converter (14, 16), as well as the precharge circuit (53) for precharging the intermediate DC voltage circuit (4). The precharge circuit (53) comprises at least one precharge resistor (45, 47). Wherein the precharge resistance (45, 47) for precharging the intermediate DC voltage circuit (4) by means of the switching group can selectively communicate with the AC network (2) or the DC network (3).

EFFECT: simplifying the electric traction system of vehicles.
