FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: metal wire feeding system to the machine comprises a wire feeding mechanism. The wire is fed with a constant and desired tension. The tension is detected by the sensitive element. The feeder has a rotating element. The rotating element is driven by an actuator. Around the actuator, the metal wire is wrapped around a part of the turn or several turns. The executive mechanism ensures that the wire is fed to the machine with a preset tension under the action of the control unit. The feeding system provides a means for determining the amount of wire fed. The means for determining the amount of wire is connected to the control unit. The control unit acts on the rotating element to maintain the amount of wire fed within the reference value.
EFFECT: optimal control of tension and the amount of wire fed, regardless of its characteristics.
