FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: centrifuge for separating the gas mixture contains the cylindrical body with the bottom, the inlet and the branch pipes, the rotor, coaxially placed inside the body, the axial sealing, placed outside the rotor at the level of its upper part, the end cover, attached to the bottom of the rotor, and the shaft, mounted with ability of axial rotation relative to the body and rigidly connected to the end cover. The centrifuge is equipped with the casing with the tangential outlet located on it, the screw swirler and the radial bridges. In the lower part of the casing the outer annular projection is made, the casing itself is coaxially located on the body. The screw swirler is installed in the body above the place, where the inlet branch pipe is connected to it. The rotor is coaxially fixed to the shaft by means of the radial bridges, which are evenly placed along its circumference. The lateral surfaces of adjacent radial bridges and the inner surface of the rotor form the axial channels. The radial channels are made in the side wall of the rotor, which are located between the adjacent radial bridges. The inlet pipe is connected tangentially to the lower part of the body, and the branch pipe is radially connected to the upper part of the body. The upper end of the rotor is located at the level of the outer annular protuberance of the casing, and the lower end is located at the level of the screw swirler upper part. The axial sealing is made in the form of the labyrinth sealing between the outer annular protuberance of the casing and the upper part of the rotor.
EFFECT: simplification and improvement of the centrifuge design reliability.
