SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the hygienic device (1) for discharging sheet material comprising a housing (2) with a discharge hole (3), a section (4) for the product (5) made of sheet material, the first sensor (6) made with the possibility of using active mode, in which it scans the user's presence, a discharge engine (10) made with the possibility to actuate the drive mechanism (11,12), the second sensor (7) for detecting when a part of the mentioned product (5) has been removed, and a microcontroller (9) connected with the first sensor (6), the second sensor (7) and the discharge engine (10). The mentioned device (1) is also configured to switch to passive mode. The discharge device (1) is made with the possibility to switch to the passive mode after a specified time period, passed in the active mode without user detection; wherein when switching to the passive mode, the length of the mentioned product (5) protrudes from the discharge device (1) through the discharge hole (3) and the first sensor (6) and the microcontroller (9) are turned off; and wherein the discharge device (1) is made with the possibility to switch back to the active mode when the second sensor (7) detects that the mentioned product (5) has been removed.
