FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator comprises a base, a vertical rod, an elastic element and a hinge for connecting the string to an elastic element or a vibration-isolating object. The hinge is an intermediate support and control cross-shaped element. The elastic element is made in the form of a vibration damping spring, containing a body of a helical hollow elastic steel tube. An additional resilient steel tube is installed inside the casing coaxially with a gap. A friction element, having higher thermal expansion coefficient as compared to steel, is placed in the gap between the tubes. The surfaces of the casing and the additional resilient steel tube touch the surfaces of the friction elements. A screw solid resilient pin is set coaxially to the casing. The friction element is tubular in the form of a granulated backfill from a sintered friction material based on copper, which contains zinc, iron, lead, graphite, vermiculite, copper, chromium, antimony and silicon.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of vibration isolation in resonance mode and increasing the sensitivity of the vibration isolator to horizontal movements of the object.
