FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: balloon catheter with a length of 5-6 cm is directed along a rigid conductor up to the area of the impacted basket with the stone. Balloon dilatation is performed, pressure in the balloon should not exceed 7-8 atmospheres with exposure to 15 minutes. After the balloon catheter is removed, the Dormia basket with stones is effortlessly removed endoscopically from the pancreatic duct by the Rendezvous method.
EFFECT: method allows to remove the impacted Dormia basket with the stone from the pancreatic duct during endoscopic retrograde lithoextraction, avoiding laparotomy.
