FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: circuitry (1) comprises at least one input (6) for receiving an operating voltage with phase cut off from the power-supply source and/or an output (7) for connecting at least one lighting device and pulse injector circuits for determining a cut off operation in the phase of the over-supply source and the supply of a current pulse from the power-supply source within delay time of 200 to 700 μs after the phase cut off operation to ensure stable operation of the LED-unit with the power-supply source with phase cut off. The detection circuit (50) includes at least one input (6) for receiving an operating voltage with phase cut off from the power-supply source and a lamp compatibility detector (52) dedicated to detect the presence of a parallel-connected lamp, connected in parallel with the detection circuit (50, 70) to the power-supply source during its usage, and to provide a compatibility signal to the LED control circuit corresponding to the determination of the parallel-connected lamp in order to establish the control circuit between the normal operating mode and the compatibility mode depending on the presence of the parallel-connected lamp.

EFFECT: significant reduction in visible flicker of light at the output of the lighting device.
