FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: in a thermal power plant comprising of a working fluid circuit of the Rankine steam-turbine cycle, including, respectively, a steam boiler with air and fuel supply channels to the combustion chamber of the boiler, a condenser, a feed pump and a steam turbine, the output shaft of which is connected to an electric generator, the circuit of stator windings of which is connected to a power system through a switch, as well as a fuel flow control unit, an electric heater with an electric heater power supply. The power inputs of the electric heater are connected to the power outputs of the power supply unit. The power input of the power supply unit is connected to the stator winding circuit of the electric generator. The electric heater is located in series in the air supply channel to the combustion chamber of the boiler. The fuel flow control unit is arranged in series in the fuel supply channel to the combustion chamber of the boiler, and the switch in the stator winding circuit of the electric generator is provided with a switch position sensor, the output of which is connected to the input of the additional air heating power setter.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide high manoeuvrability of the plant with its simplification as a whole and shortening of the payback period of the hydrocarbon fuel thermal power plant.
