FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: liquid crystal screen contains a glass substrate for an array of thin film transistors (TFT), a colour filter plate, a liquid crystal layer between the substrate and the colour filter plate, ab upper plate of the polarizer on the surface of the filter plate, not adjacent to the liquid crystal layer, and a lower plate of the polarizer on the surface of the glass substrate for TFT array, not adjacent to the liquid crystal layer. The latter further comprises a support array and a transparent electrode. The support array and the transparent electrode are respectively located on the surfaces of the liquid crystal layer adjacent to the glass substrate for the TFT array and the colour filter plate. The space between the support array and the transparent electrode is filled with liquid crystals. The support array is located between the liquid crystal layer and the glass substrate for the TFT array or between the liquid crystal layer and the colour filter plate. The transparent electrode is located opposite the support array between the liquid crystal layer and the glass substrate for the TFT array or between the liquid crystal layer and the colour filter plate.
