FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: peripheral blood of patients is taken, RNA is isolated, the samples of which are used to simultaneously quantify the expression level of the ST13, IER3, BRCA1, LRDD, MRAS genes of the p53 protein gene network, then the detected markers are compared for mothers and their offspring and in the presence of patients not exposed to the radiation factor, decrease or increase of the expression level of these genes in mothers with clinical manifestations of malignant neoplasms, and unidirectional changes of the level of these genes expression in their offspring, high risk for cancer is assessed for children.
EFFECT: invention can be used for early diagnosis of the cancer risk in patients living in the radionucleous contamination region with one of the parents having a clinical picture of cancer.
