FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining a product from the spinodal alloy of copper-nickel-stannum comprises heating the casting from the spinodal alloy of copper-nickel-stannum to a temperature from 1100 to 1400 °F for 10-14 hours, compressing the casting by hot pressure treatment, reducing the casting area by at least 30%, cooling the casting in the air to room temperature, heating to a temperature of at least 1600°F for 12-48 hours, exposing the casting to a temperature from 1600 to 1750 °F for 2-6 hours, the second compression of the casting by hot pressure treatment, reducing the casting area by at least 30%, and cooling the casting in the air to room temperature to obtain the product.
EFFECT: obtaining products from spinodal copper-nickel-stannum alloys with a uniform grain size without a homogenization stage.
